Gemmy was my first opportunity in the "Corporate America" world.

It was a very enlightening and enriching experience.

As a production artist/graphic designer, I worked on a variety of packaging, from inflatables to lighting products, plush, and toys for private labels, as well as in-house and License packaging.

My responsibilities included assembling visual presentations, drafting in-store displays and creating buyer plan-o-grams via SketchUp; working with the sales team on buyer-approved packaging in private label style guides (Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, etc.); collaborating with product designers, copywriters, photographers, mock-up team, legal staff, sales managers, licensing coordinators, and buyers; and communicating with factory design teams in China during the packaging production process.

Other duties: creation of web graphics, sales boards, and PowerPoint presentation materials.
